Pack Leader Board & Train is now located at 1355 Hope Lane in Redding. Where your dog gets Specialized attention: No more than 2 dogs will be in the program at the same time, thus allowing your dog to get focused attention from me and my Assistant Trainer.
My second Training Center is only about 17 minutes from the heart of Redding. The Millville site features two huge lodging areas, home access, and an agility area, plus a big play area. Day Boarding, Day Classes, Group Classes, and Agility are all done here. Your dog’s individual suite has 2 areas: a 10 x 14 foot interior, and an adjoining 14 x 16 foot exterior with artificial turf. My *6-day course is the complete package for anyone who wants to give their best friend off-leash freedom. I designed this course around the way we live with our personal dogs and want to give you that same well-behaved, happy, and confident companion. This course is great for dogs five months and older.
*drop off is Monday morning, and pick up is Saturday, unless prior arrangements are made
What we will teach your dog:

- Place – made up of Sit, Down and Stay

- Heel: Walk next to your left side with loose leash and off-leash.

- Come command: The most important exercise all dogs should know!

- Waiting at doors and respectfully walking through doorways

- Crate training (being comfortable in a crate)

- Loading into vehicles

- How to walk/jog next to a bicycle

- How to focus around any distraction. A common misconception is that once a dog has learned a new trick, they should know how to do it anywhere… unfortunately, it isn’t that easy. We teach focus as a skill.

- Confidence: One of the main focal points of this course is building confidence. A large percentage of the dogs we train are lacking confidence in many areas. This makes it difficult for dogs to focus, obey simple commands, and even enjoy activities with us.
Our training retreat also includes:

- Foundation Training; A required private session in your home, prior to dropping your pet off at my facility. You’ll learn the secrets of maintaining a calm, confident, and obedient dog by simply applying the 5 Golden Rules.

- Dog & Human Exposure – your dog learns how to properly behave around others. No pulling, barking, etc…

- Agility course introduction to build your pet’s confidence

- Lifetime access to our in-depth training videos of all of the skills we have taught your dog

- A graduation transition lesson: Our trainers show you what we did and how to continue it! Roughly 1.5 hours.

- A training demo at our facility and off-site, at time of your pick-up. Roughly 1.5 hours.

- Follow-Up/refresher training at the location of your choice-your home, park, store, off-leash area, my facility (locally or a fee applies for travel beyond 30 minutes).

Board & Train
We did the dog board and train program with Steve with our adopted German Shepard. After just a week, our dog came home COMPLETELY changed. We were blown away.
