No. While your dog may have natural instincts to protect you or your home, my emphasis is always creating a calm dog. This doesn’t interfere with your pooch alerting you when there is danger.

I serve the greater Redding area, including Red Bluff and up to Mt Shasta. I can also serve outside of the area for an additional travel fee.

A dog behaviorist is someone who specializes in dog behavior and learning, using modern scientific principles to address current behavior and to prevent future behavior problems. A behaviorist will work with you to give you a greater understanding of your dogs’ communication, learning styles, and needs. Equipping you to have a positive lifetime with your furry friends. Of course training for cues, commands, games, and other skills are part of the services delivered for you.

My specialty is showing dog owners how to create and maintain their ideal environment for them and their furry family. I’m highly trained and experienced with aggressive behaviors. I specialize in support animals, and working with deaf dogs.

There are many great trainers out there who can train your dog to do tricks or correct a particular behavior. The benefit of my method is that I train you to create a calmness in your dog that lasts for life. My training not only corrects behavior and teaches cues/commands, but it deters future issues and makes training much easier.

The initial consultation can be tailored to last only an hour or can go as long as 3+ hours.

The beauty of this method is that it usually only takes one session. And, addition sessions are available if needed, say, if you only had time for an hour for the initial consult. You also get free phone and email follow up for months.

I can usually help you over the phone at no extra charge. But, if you’d like for me to come out, I’d be happy to. There is an additional charge of $50 per half hour.

It’s best to have every human that regularly interacts with the dog(s) to be there if possible.

No, but you will be! Sure, I’ll start the training, and your clever dog may get some behaviors right away, but I’d never promise that!
